The Indigenous Youth Prevention/Intervention program supports youth ages 8-18 across the six First Nations, addressing the root causes of gang involvement and gun violence through education, mentorship, and physical activity. By promoting healing, self-discovery, and positive relationship building with the police, elders, and community members, the program empowers youth. The Indigenous Youth Prevention/Intervention program helps youth stay connected to their identity while creating new friendships and opportunities. 

The goals of this program are: 
•To address the local context, specific nature and impact of youth gang issues.
•To build sustainable community partnerships that will proactively address root causes of crime.
•To promote and assist in the development of positive relationships between youth and the police
•To provide culturally appropriate gang/prevention programming for indigenous youth
