Bail Verification and Supervision Program
This Program assists individuals seeking bail who are 16 years and older within the District of Manitoulin. The Program worker will attend Bail court, speak with the accused and verify certain information which will assist the court in determining the suitability of release. Those individuals who already have a surety or who are able to be released on their own recognizance are not eligible for this Program. Once released, the individual will be supervised by the Program worker while awaiting a court disposition and/or trial.

Bail Supervision Reporting:
If a scheduled reporting date falls on a statutory holiday/office closure, reporting must be completed on the next consecutive business day. For any urgent changes or updates after hours, please leave a detailed voicemail with your contact information.
